Interplay is seeking a General Counsel to join the team in New York City.

About the Role:

The General Counsel will assist the Partners with most legal matters at Interplay. This will include advising Interplay on day-to-day legal matters, financing transactions and ad hoc projects.

Who We’re Looking For:

The baseline: Candidates need to have a minimum of six to ten years of experience (at least four years at a premier law firm) and a background that incorporates a mixture of law firm and in-house experience is preferred. That said, we’re focused on culture first. We want someone with a soul. Someone who does the right thing. Someone without ego. We’re looking for someone we want to hangout with, laugh with and work with. Social skills are a must.

Experience managing other lawyers, both internally and externally would be helpful, but not required. It would also be extra cool if the candidate had experience serving early-stage companies.
