We are looking for an ongoing part-time (guaranteed minimum 20 hours work/week) contract attorney with at least 5 years experience with the ability to draft, review, summarize, research and advise on contracts and negotiations on behalf of the company. Some key areas of work will be confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, service contracts, commercial contracts, real estate leases, new entity formation, other general business contracts and employment law.

What You Will Do:

Prepare commercial agreements

Research and analyze laws and regulations

Analysis and summation of complex documents

Negotiate with customers, via telephone or email, regarding modifications to business agreements

Provide legal advice to owner in a large variety of areas

Investigate and define problem areas, prepare reports recommending solutions or courses of action related to contract administration and/or projects and manage changes accordingly

Manage projects and deadlines

Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and guidelines

Prepare of written and verbal opinions of counsel as needed

General Workload:

50% Transactional

30% Contractual

20% Litigation Support

What You Will Need:

JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in the state of Utah

Provide Utah Bar Number
5-7 years experience in corporate law
