As Bond’s Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead and oversee the Company’s corporate compliance program and will develop, implement and maintain policies, guidelines and procedures can be productized into scalable technology for our banks and brand partners to use. You will guide the company on the human / machine interactions of what can be automated, what needs human intervention. This role is entirely unique because of how much influence you will have in productizing compliance features into scalable technology.

You will:

Lead efforts on all compliance matters with executives, internal stakeholders, bank partners, fintech partners, and regulators.

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate compliance requirements and tasks into product features. Use your influence on managing the priorities of the backlog.

Ensure that remediation efforts are sufficient and timely by reviewing action plans and remediation documentation to support event closure. Perform root cause analysis and the identification of improvements in customer service.

Prepare for, coordinate and execute third-party examinations, including ensuring that information requests from third-party partners and regulators are completed timely and accurately

Establish, implement and supervise compliance policies and procedures throughout the organization to ensure that the compliance program is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance with regulatory requirements

Conduct risk assessments internally and externally across our partnership environment and monitor compliance risk metrics

Constantly reducing the complexity and judgement of compliance tasks into product requirements so that technology and product can build scalable solutions

Build and lead a team of compliance professionals

You have:

15 years of financial services experience, preferably in compliance, risk management, operations and/or audit roles.

Comprehensive knowledge and application of financial services laws and regulations, risk management controls, internal control practices and audit concepts and techniques

Comfortable with hands-on work while managing a team, balancing priorities and competing initiatives.

Self-starter, with the ability to follow through on matters and bring them to resolution in a timely and reasonable manner

Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with Solid analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Demonstrated ability to change the industry: you don’t believe that the status quo has to exist and you can help influence the industry to create positive change.

You may also have:

At least 5 years of experience in financial technology or regulatory technologies companies

Have translated compliance requirements into scalable technology for automation

Experience with interpretability capabilities in machine learning or AI based technology platforms.

Professional certifications(s) such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Risk Professional (CRP), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Information Privacy Professional, or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
