General Counsel

Daxko is seeking a General Counsel to support the CFO and CEO in all things legal and compliance. The right person for this dynamic, fast-paced company will have relevant corporate legal experience, extraordinary collaboration techniques, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with diverse stakeholders. This position is highly visible in the organization and requires someone with a great attitude, proven track-record for understanding complex legal issues, and experience implementing policies.

We'll want you to...

Contract. Work with Sales on negotiating and finalizing customer contracts and work with other stakeholders on vendor and partner contracts.   
Collaborate. Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide accurate legal advice
Comply. Ensure Company maintains compliance around various regulations, including data security.
Lead. Manage the reporting process for risk assessments and legal matters for the Board and Audit Committee of the Board
Coordinate. Cultivate and manage all outside legal counsel relationships on specific topics and issues where the Company needs specialized outside legal and compliance advice.
Improvise. Advise CFO, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team on potential legal risks and considerations of business opportunities, and perform risk analyses.

Qualifications
What skills and experiences are required...

Juris Doctorate degree
5+ years of progressive responsibility in corporate law, either at a law firm or in-house with a company (software experience is a plus, but not required)
Exceptional knowledge of contracts and general business law
Constructive attitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions in a positive, resourceful and team oriented way
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels within the company, Board of Directors, and external customers and stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and ability to think analytically
