General Counsel

At Diamond Foundry, we are reimagining the industry by operating a responsible, honest and transparent business. As America’s leading producer of diamonds, we create real diamonds aboveground in our San Francisco foundry with our proprietary solar technology. 

We are looking for a General Counsel to join our growing team. This role will provide legal support in all areas of the business. Reporting to the VP, Finance, the General Counsel, Corporate position’s primary responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Owning and providing support for a variety of corporate transactional matters including contracts across all corporate functions
Negotiating business deals with major customers
Oversee intellectual property matters, compliance, and corporate responsibility
Providing timely advice and counsel to senior management by advising on laws, regulations and best practices
Requirements:
Two to four years corporate commercial and transactional law experience in firm and/or in-house environments
Strong analytical, interpersonal, drafting, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills
Excellent judgment with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to lead transactions and projects
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
Practical team player with the ability to professionally collaborate in a results-oriented environment
Effectively work in a highly confidential environment with the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity
