General Counsel

FlexFunds is an international financial services start-up with U.S. and international offices. Our main office is located in the Brickell area of Miami. FlexFunds serves as the coordinator and administrator for securities issuance programs targeting asset managers with foreign-end investors. We are also developing fintech platforms for asset managers to widely and efficiently attract investors to their strategies.  

FlexFunds is searching for a General Counsel to lead a small in-house legal team that works on various domestic and international issues concerning structured finance, tax, and regulatory and compliance matters. The General Counsel will also be responsible for overseeing and working on other legal matters as needed, including the drafting of contracts, operating agreements, and service agreements. Candidates should be able to evaluate and propose solutions for complex, sensitive issues on short notice. Attorneys who are bilingual—are fluent in both English and Spanish—are preferred. The General Counsel will work closely with the CEO and other department heads in the course of his or her work.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of legal and management experience, high-level writing skills, be able to succinctly explain complex issues internally and to third parties, and be fluent in English and Spanish.
