General Counsel

Goodville has an immediate opening for General Counsel to serve on staff to ensure company's legal compliance with insurance department directives and with local, state, and federal government laws and regulations; monitor legal compliance of corporate policies, of product development updates and changes, and with employment law; oversee corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives; provide senior management with effective legal advice on company strategies and implementation; oversee corporate legal affairs (non-claims related) and coordinate work of outside retained counsel; give oversight to negotiations of critical company contracts; supervise assigned staff. Qualifications include a law degree, admission to a professional bar association, and a minimum of six years' experience practicing law.
